The ever-changing COVID-19 pandemic and the safety of all participants, survivors, and patients weighed heavily on the minds of ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer, their Medical Advisory Board and Board of Directors. After careful consideration, the organization made the decision to move all September Run/Walks to a virtual format.
Participants and event leaders will gather virtually via ZOOM on Friday, September 24, at 5 p.m., for the Harrisburg ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk. The event will feature an awards ceremony, survivor and caregiver ceremony, and presentation from a mission speaker as well.
The virtual 5K will be held via the Charge App the following morning on Saturday, September 25. Participants can participate virtually and gather with teammates or neighbors for a fun 5K in their local neighborhoods. ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer encourages participants to share photos, motivational posts and highlights as well.
