On Tuesday, November 17, at 7 p.m., men will have the opportunity to learn about the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment options for an enlarged prostate from UCPA’s Dr. R. Scott Owens. He will share about his experience in diagnosing BPH and treatments that have proven effective.
Some symptoms of an enlarged prostate, or Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), include frequent urination during the day and night, urgency, or difficulty going. The condition affects more than 40 million men in the U.S., but there is help. Effective, minimally-invasive treatment options are available.
Dr. Owens, was recently recognized as a UroLift ® Center of Excellence physician. He is the only designee in Central PA and only one of five in the state. A UroLift® Center of Excellence designation recognizes higher level training and experience, coupled with a commitment to exemplary care for men with BPH.
