Diagnosed with Prostate, Bladder or Urologic Cancer? A Cancer Survivor Mentor can Help!
If you have been recently diagnosed with prostate, bladder or urologic cancer or have been told you need a biopsy, there is a way to have your personal questions answered.
Many times hearing from a person who has experienced what we are facing is reassuring and helpful. Cancer survivors have an insider’s perspective on facing the disease – and beating it.
UCPA has a group of volunteers who desire to help others facing prostate, bladder or urologic cancer. They’re called Cancer Survivor Mentors and they’re available to speak with you and your family.
Cancer Survivor Mentors can discuss any of the topics you have questions about, as well as, treatments, recovery, what to expect with surgery, hormones, or radiation, and/or to share their stories.
If you are interested in speaking with a Cancer Survivor Mentor, please call 717-888-9000.
