September is prostate cancer awareness month. One in seven men will get the disease, and it can be deadly. But your odds greatly improve if you catch it early, which is why men need to get tested.
There’s a race taking place Friday night in Harrisburg to raise money in the fight against prostate cancer. One man is using his talent to help spread awareness.
At the race, community members create teams and run together to end prostate cancer. Country singer Jimmy Charles is building teams in five cities this month and also performing at each race to spread awareness for this cause.
Through his partnership with Zero Cancer, he was inspired to write “Superman” which is now the Zero Cancer anthem for prostate cancer awareness.
CMT debuted the music video on September 1, which trended number one on the site.
